The Attendance module is the heartbeat of your academy's daily operations. It allows you to mark daily registers, monitor live turnout across all batches, and analyze long-term consistency trends.
The Attendance Monitor provides a live feed of today's activity:
The Monthly Roster view presents data in a Gantt-chart style grid, making it easy to spot trends:
| Skater Name | 01 | 02 | 03 | 04 | 05 | 06 | 07 | % |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aarav Patel | P | P | P | - | P | A | P | 83% |
| Diya Sharma | P | A | A | - | P | P | P | 66% |
| Rohan Gupta | L | P | P | - | P | P | P | 100% |
* Sample view showing attendance status (P=Present, A=Absent, L=Late, -=No Class) for the first week of the month.
The system automates several actions based on your inputs:
When you mark a skater as Absent and submit, the system immediately sends a push notification to the parent's mobile app. This ensures parents are aware if their child misses training.
Marking a skater as Late (L) counts as "Present" for attendance percentage calculations but is flagged in reports for discipline tracking.
You can edit attendance for past dates (e.g., if you forgot to mark it yesterday). However, notifications are NOT sent for past dates to avoid confusing parents.
