Configure Razorpay to accept online payments directly

Overview

SkaterWorld integrates with Razorpay to allow academies to collect fees online. When a parent pays via the app, the money goes directly to your Razorpay account.

Prerequisites

Configuration Steps

  1. Get API Keys from Razorpay

    Log in to your Razorpay Dashboard, go to Settings > API Keys, and generate a new Key ID and Key Secret.

    Important: Copy the Key Secret immediately. It will not be shown again.
  2. Configure in SkaterWorld

    Go to Settings > Payment Gateway in your academy portal and enter:

    • Key ID: Your Razorpay Key ID.
    • Key Secret: Your Razorpay Key Secret.
    • Account Name: The name displayed to parents during payment (e.g., "SkaterWorld Academy").
    • GSTIN: (Optional) Your GST number for tax compliance.
  3. Enable Payments

    Toggle the Enable Online Payments switch to ON. Parents can now pay fees via UPI, Cards, or Netbanking.

Troubleshooting

Payment Failed Error Ensure your Razorpay account is in "Live Mode" and not "Test Mode". Check if your KYC is pending.
Settlement Delays Funds are settled by Razorpay to your bank account (typically T+2 days). Check the Razorpay dashboard for status.
Security Note: SkaterWorld never stores your bank account details or passwords. All transactions are processed securely via Razorpay.
